Each unit will be inspected for physical damage upon receipt. The following components of the case are examined for cracks: lid, base, keyboard, keyboard frame, hinges, LCD frame, power switch assembly, audio/video jacks, volume controls, PCMIA bezels and rear-door.

Are there any cracks in the case?
With the power off, are there any visible scratches in the CLD (over 1/8&quo; long or perceptible to touch)?
Is there any LCD discoloration?

Note: We will count and test batteries. Since we are capable of reconditioning battery-memory problems on NiCd and NiMH batteries, we will not charge for batteries that we can recondition, however, charges will be assessed for batteries that cannot be reconditioned.
